The Meyer Residence: Like Many projects at Architura, owners Iris and Leonard Myer wanted to build their dream home for themselves. Architura worked with the Meyer family from planning through construction in order to help them attain their goal. The house sits on a beautiful boating basin just off the inter-coastal waterway in one of Sarasota's oldest, most historic neighborhoods. The home has been carefully nestled and the landscape skillfully terraced to conceal the 9,436 thousand sqft print. This home is a blend of classic and contemporary Southern Coast design incorporating, fourteen and twenty foot ceilings, block contruction, stone, stucco and clapboard veneersall under a galvanized metal roof.
